Can't help smiling!

Jacob has a great smile that lights up his whole face, even when he sticks out his tongue. Look out Devin & Katy, he is going to be one mischievious kid!

Can you guess who's shadow this is?

Brigham loves to ride his new bike on our walk path & of course I am happy to have lots of company join me for a walk.

Rules Once Tagged:1) Link to the person who tagged you.
2) Post the rules on your blog (copy and paste 1-6).
3) Write 6 random things about yourself (see below).
4) Tag 6 people at the end of your post.
5) Let them know they are tagged and leave a comment on their blog.
6) Let the tagger (who tagged you) know when your post is up.

Randomness about me:

1. I like to go for walks & take the dogs with me and anyone else who is willing. The trick is actually getting out there.
2. I am not a party person in large groups. I always think I am going to say or do something stupid to embarrass myself. I tried explaining this when I was called to be ward activity chairman with Larry.
3. I like to travel & go places, but when it is time to go home, I wish I could just blink & be home.
4. I love to have a clean, orderly home. I just hate the actual work of getting it that way. Hmm, sounds like I need a maid. But then I would have to clean before she got here.
5. I am so glad to have daughters & daughters-in-law to help me keep or get in style. Guys just look at you & say nothing unless you are wearing something really weird.
6. I love falltime---the weather, the colors. I just wished it would last longer before winter tramples all over it.

I tag Jean & Natalie. Everyone else I know has been tagged.

Ward camp-out

Larry is mixing the pancake batter for breakfast this morning. It is a good thing people jumped in & offered to help cook. It would have been even better if I had remember to pack the veg. oil, butter & ketchup. Other than that, we had plenty of food for everyone. I sent left-over sloppy joes home with several people, including Melina & Rebecca. so maybe I had better not serve that for dinner tomorrow.
We are getting set up & people are still arriving. We had a pretty good turn-out. Everyone visited, played games & went swimming. I would have some pics of Larry, Troy, Melina & family, but you know me & my history of dying batteries.
Rebecca & Courtney came too, but had to go home that same night because Courtney wasn't feeling all that great (teething, etc.).

Okay, I haven't posted anything for a while. I'm lucky to be moving much. I have put in 3 hrs 51 min. on the Wii Fit in the past 4 days. Who knew that trying new exercises & games could be so fun that you forget how sore your muscles are getting? You'd think I would be losing weight, but no such luck. Anyway, thanks, Mallena for helping me find the wii fit!

Now if I can just get through the ward camp-out tonight with nothing going wrong & people having fun, I will be very happy & relieved. Maybe I will even get a picture or two!

Cooperation at its finest

We can fly!

Sleep over at Oma's

Brigham fell asleep early & I had to wake him up so he would sleep all night. We went for a long walk and he rode his bike the whole way (about a mile). He was a very good little boy. He got a huge kick out of beating Oma at tennis on the Wii. He can serve those super fast balls that are hard to return!
Brigham loved riding over all the bumps & holes in the sidewalk. He said he wasn't a very good driver and kept driving off into the dirt & grass.

It was a perfect night for a walk.
